iQOO has released the Z10 and Z10x smartphones in India, bringing two more models to the Z series roster. The latest Vivo sub-brand products come in two colour variations apiece. The iQOO Z10 is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, while the Z10x is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor.
The Z10 has a big 7,300mAh battery and supports 90W rapid charging, allowing for longer usage with minimal downtime. On the other hand, the Z10x is powered by a 6,500mAh battery. Both smartphones run Funtouch OS 15, which is based on Android 15, and have a dual rear camera configuration that includes a 50-megapixel main sensor. Each gadget comes with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies and making video calls. However, we utilised the Z10 for approximately a week and here is our feedback.
Display and design:
The iQOO Z10 has a huge 6.77-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2392 pixels and a smooth refresh rate of 120Hz. With a pixel density of 387ppi, graphics are clear and detailed, making it excellent for streaming, gaming, and general use. The highlight feature here is its incredible peak brightness of 5000 nits, which allows for good readability even in direct sunshine. The AMOLED panel provides deep blacks and bright colours, creating an immersive viewing experience. Overall, the display is a significant highlight of the Z10, punching much over its weight in this market.
Weighing less than 200g and measuring only 7.89mm thick, the iQOO Z10 is one of the thinnest smartphones with a huge battery. It has a prominent, circular camera island on the rear that houses a dual-camera arrangement and an LED flash, giving it a unique appearance. The back panel is made of durable polycarbonate composite materials, which are both strong and lightweight. Built to last, the phone surpasses MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability standards and has an IP65 rating, which means it is dust-resistant and can tolerate water splashes and light rain without difficulty.
Camera:
The iQOO Z10 features a dual rear camera array led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and an f/1.8 aperture. The main camera produces clear, well-exposed photographs with a wide dynamic range, particularly in daytime. OIS reduces blur in low-light images and when filming handheld videos, enhancing stability and clarity.
However, the secondary 2-megapixel sensor is rather rudimentary and just provides depth information, limiting its flexibility. On the front, the 8-megapixel selfie camera produces decent images in good lighting but softens details in low-light situations.
While the camera configuration lacks additional lenses and high-end functions, the main sensor performs well for ordinary shooting. Overall, the iQOO Z10 provides a good photography experience for its price, thanks to the incorporation of OIS in the primary lens.
Performance:
The iQOO Z10 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, along with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. This combination provides smooth and responsive performance in everyday work, multitasking, and casual gaming. Apps load swiftly and move between them smoothly thanks to the substantial RAM and efficient hardware.

While not a flagship CPU, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 is well-suited to balancing performance and power economy. It handles popular games and media-heavy applications well, however more graphically demanding titles may require lower settings for optimal gaming.
Overall, the iQOO Z10 delivers consistent performance in its class, making it an excellent choice for customers looking for a speedy and responsive smartphone without breaking the bank.
Battery:
The iQOO Z10 features a big 7,300mAh battery, one of the largest in its class. This powerhouse can easily last over a day and a half of moderate to heavy use, making it excellent for consumers who value lengthy battery life. Whether you’re gaming, streaming, or multitasking, the battery performs admirably without regular recharges. What makes it even better is the 90W quick charging capability, which dramatically decreases downtime.
Conclusion:
With a starting price of Rs. 21,999, the iQOO Z10 provides excellent value for money. It ticks all of the boxes for a dependable mid-range smartphone, from its bright AMOLED display and powerful Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset to its large 7,300mAh battery with blazing-fast 90W charging. The presence of OIS in the 50MP camera, elegant design, and Android 15 out of the box add to its attractiveness. The iQOO Z10, available in Glacier Silver and Stellar Black, stands out as one of the best selections in its class, providing an excellent balance of performance, functionality, and beauty.
