Scroll down for two more important tips that could give you a much-needed boost. It’s all owing to a hidden button that most people aren’t aware of.

Unbox PH posted the stunt with their 197,000 video sharing platform followers.

The tool essentially reduces animation elements.

These animation elements look cool on your phone, but they can consume a little amount of processing power.

So turning it off might be the answer you’re looking for.

It’s hidden away in a private menu only for developers.

On your Android handset, click to Settings and scroll down to About phone to unlock it.

Look for the Build number option and tap it several times until you see the message “You are now a developer!”

Return to the System and updates section.

There will now be a Developer options button, which did not previously exist.

Scroll down until you see Window animation scale, then tap it.

Choose this and set it to.5x.

Apply the same logic to the Transition animation scale and the Animation duration scale.

This will shorten the animation periods when switching from one program to another.

The usefulness of the trick was disputed by users.

“OMG THANK YOU MY PHONE IS FASTER NOW,” one user said.

“OMG it literally worked,” claimed another.

However, a third user commented, “I did it, but my phone is still slow.”

If this is the case with your phone, you may need to make some more changes, such as those stated below.

Get rid of old apps.

Apps take up valuable space, so eliminate those that you don’t use frequently.

However, manually going through and eliminating them is time consuming.

Fortunately, Google has devised a brilliant method for detecting long-forgotten apps and clearing them for you.

Delete the cache

Cache refers to the small files that are downloaded onto your phone whenever you browse something like a web page.

These remember things like as personal preferences or web page layouts so that the next time you visit, they load faster.

However, they can quickly accumulate into a mountain of data.
