PlayStation Plus Extra & Premium January 2026 Lineup Revealed – Full List & Highlights

Sony just dropped the first big PlayStation Plus update of 2026, and it’s an absolute banger. The January lineup for Extra and Premium subscribers is stacked with heavy hitters, day-one launches, and some genuinely surprising classics. Whether you’re a day-one PS Plus member or just thinking about jumping in, this month is one of the strongest in recent memory.
PlayStation Plus Extra Games (Available January 21, 2026)
- Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth (PS4, PS5) – The massive Hawaii-set RPG that launched in 2024 finally hits the service. Easily one of the best entries in the series.
- Sifu: Redemption Edition (PS5) – The complete version with all updates, Arenas mode, and the new Redemption expansion. Perfect time to jump in or replay.
- Dragon’s Dogma 2 (PS5) – Capcom’s sprawling open-world epic from 2024. Still looks stunning and plays like nothing else.
- Stellar Blade (PS5) – Shift Up’s stylish action game that turned heads last year. If you missed it, now’s your chance.
- Rise of the Ronin (PS5) – Team Ninja’s samurai epic that flew a bit under the radar despite being excellent.
- Dave the Diver: Anniversary Edition (PS4, PS5) – The cozy underwater restaurant RPG that everyone adored in 2024–25.
- RoboCop: Rogue City (PS5) – Pure ’80s action schlock done exactly right. “Dead or alive, you’re coming with me.”
- Goat Simulator 3 (PS5) – Because sometimes you just need to cause chaos as a goat.
- The Plucky Squire (PS4, PS5) – The charming 2D/3D dimension-hopping adventure that deserved way more attention.
- Lost Records: Bloom & Rage – Tape 1 (PS5) – Dontnod’s new narrative series kicks off with its first episode as a day-one launch for Premium (also available to Extra members).
PlayStation Plus Premium Classics (Available January 21, 2026)
- Dino Crisis (PS1) – Regina is back! The survival-horror classic finally returns after years of fan begging.
- Dino Crisis 2 (PS1) – Yes, both of them. Peak PlayStation era Resident Evil-with-dinosaurs energy.
- Max Payne (PS2) – Remedy’s groundbreaking bullet-time shooter in beautiful PS2-on-PS5 emulation.
- Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne (PS2) – The darker, weirder sequel that still holds up perfectly.
- Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Republic Heroes (PS2) – Pure 2000s jank, but someone out there is screaming with joy right now.
Quick Thoughts.
This could be the best PS Plus month we’ve ever had. Purchasing Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Dragon’s Dogma 2, Stellar Blade, and Rise of the Ronin all at once is an incredible value. With Sifu’s entire edition and the much-anticipated Dino Crisis duet, Premium subscribers are eating extremely well this month.
Sony definitely listened to feedback on 2025’s quieter lineups and decided to make a statement at the beginning of 2026. If you’ve been debating whether to go with Extra or Premium, January 2026 is the month to make your decision.
Which game are you launching first? I already know that half of you are reinstalling PlayStation Plus just for Dino Crisis. Do not lie.
